Director biography
Ineke McMahon
B.Bus (HRM) BA (Psych)
Ineke McMahon has a recruitment career spanning two decades. Her expertise developed initially in technical areas such as property, engineering, construction, infrastructure and major projects. For the last ten years she has been involved in completing roles at senior and executive levels across all industries as well as State and Local Governments.
Ineke has also headed up large projects such as leading the team to recruit 13 Chairman and 60 Board members for Queensland Health’s hospital & health services, and for Economic Development Queensland their new Board as well as the Project Review panel. She is the only Australian recruiter to have been featured in Forbes Magazine. A career highlight was leading the recruitment process for the CEO for Brisbane City Council in 2024.
Ineke’s has also undertaken work in succession planning, organisational planning, role definition and career transition. She is also skilled at social media campaigns and building strong networks within industry sectors.
Ineke holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, A Bachelor of Business (HRM) and a GAICD. She sits on numerous committees within her sectors of expertise. These include five years on the Board of Advisors for the Property Industry Foundation’s, is an inaugural member of the Diversity Committee for the Property Council (current Chair) and has also been a Mentor for Nawic (National Association of Women in Construction). Ineke received the NAWIC businesswomen of the year award in 2021 for her commitment to diversity, and in 2025 was awarded the Property Council of Australia’s Diversity Award.
Ineke is also the co-founder of the Path to Promotion, an online learning development academy.
